What an incredible two days at Olbrich Botanical Gardens! Despite the scorching heat and humidity, five Harry Whitehorse International Wood Sculpture Festival sculptures were installed, thanks to the amazing team’s hard work and dedication.
Huge shoutout to L.W. Meyer Contractor Supplies for their generous donation of an industrial drill, crucial for attaching the sculptures to the custom-made bases by Gene Delcourt.
A special thanks to Aaron from Olbrich staff, who operated the forklift with surgical precision, and Vince, who provided support, muscle, and was with us every step of the way. Working with them and getting to know them through this process was a true pleasure.
Let’s remember the Festival friends, Drew and Matt, whose help was crucial to making this installation successful.
Thank you all for your incredible dedication during the hottest, most humid days of the year—your hard work has made this installation possible!
